Message from the Chairman
Assalam u Alaikum,
As you may be aware, members of the MINAB met for the Annual General Meeting on Saturday 30th June in Leicester at which a new Executive Board was elected.
The MINAB’s new Executive Board will be managed by the newly elected Board of Trustees, which consists of:
The relaunch of the MINAB and election of a fresh Board represent a renewed commitment by the MINAB to strive towards the fulfillment of its five standards which aim to facilitate the spread of good practice amongst its members.
Our core objectives include ensuring that Mosques are safe and well-governed, services are provided by suitably qualified personnel, and are engaging with our youth, women, and society at large. We are looking forward to working with Mosques and training institutions across the country and engaging in open and meaningful conversations with a diverse spectrum of British Muslims in order to raise standards and facilitate community cohesion.
To this end, we will be in contact as and when relevant issues arise, but also respectfully request that you do not hesitate to contact us in the meantime in the event that we can be of any assistance to your organization, or should a matter arise which you think would benefit from our input or of which we ought to be aware. We look forward to working with you in the coming weeks and months.
May Allah Almighty bless you and protect you.
